But I did.

It is true that I have never been a supermodel. Nor am I the First Lady of France. I do not mix with the rich and famous (unless Timmy Mallett counts). I do not lead a jet set lifestyle.
But I DO know what it's like to have a baby at 43.
It's the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm sure that Carla will feel exactly the same.
(...oh, and the other thing about me and Carla Bruni? Who'd've thought that mine would be the name that appears in bold?!)
