Oops - where exactly did the last month go?
It's been busy!
There was Jewish Book Week.
There have been visits to various book stores with my willing assistant who loves reading every bit as much as her mum.
I am just back from another trip on the 'big' train. I've been writing pieces for a number of publications (more info when I know exactly when they're out). Talks, signings and interviews too (BBC Manchester coming up on Monday evening some time between 7 and 8 if you're in the vicinity)
In one particular radio appearance I was Cari at the start, Kerry midway through...and Cherry by the end. And then there was the time an interviewer said "So your book is called "Secret Diary of A New Mum Aged 43 1/4"? And how old were you when you had your daughter...?"
I am very chuffed to have some really lovely reviews - a massive thank you to everyone who takes the time to leave feedback on Amazon etc - I can't tell you how much it means to me to read that you've been enjoying the book. Thanks also to all those who have featured me/Secret Diary on their websites (such as this one and this one and this one and...) It's hugely appreciated.
This Sunday is Mother's Day - my 3rd as a mum - and so it seems fitting to mark the occasion with a little competition. We have copies of the book up for grabs: simply share your most embarrassing moment of motherhood by replying to this post. And the funniest ones will win
